We were excited to have Dr. Jack (Qi-Ming) Zhu attend our grand opening! We were even more excited when he brought his pride and joy 1st generation of the newer model Mini Cooper!
Dr. Zhu is a Pulmonary and Critical Care physician in Katy, TX who recently moved from New York City. He practices in the Medical Colleagues of Texas in Katy , TX and also in Memorial Hermann Katy hospital as well as Methodist West Hospital.
When he brought his Mini, we took a look and noticed that New York City has not been very kind to the Mini. The road salt from those snowy days in New York has corroded some components and his entire suspension system is failing.
THE BEFORE SHOT:
We gave him the Texas treatment and decided we would help his Mini come back to life again! The launch of Project Mini began!
We installed 17 inch matte black MSR wheels, painted the calipers red to give the wheels contrast. We then replaced the suspension and brakes which included the control arms, bushings, pads and rotors. Dr. Zhu wanted it to feel like new again and we did everything in our power to make that happen. We wanted to go above and beyound so we took off the yellow haze on the headlights, and involved our friends at HID Factory to set him up with some new HID headlights and LED fog lights! We got our friends at Excessive Detailing to enlivent the natural green of the Mini with a full exterior and interior detail.
Here are some great pics of the Mini after we were through with it!
We were excited to deliver Dr. Zhu his reinvented Mini! It gives us so much pleasure when our customers take pleasure in our work. Thank you for reading!
